As a beginner in goats, I have added these two books to my wish list. These books would make wonderful holiday gifts and perfect stocking stuffers! Storey’s publishing provides information that is easy to read and wonderful for those starting out or thinking about it. If you are more interested in meat goats, Storey’s Guide to Raising Meat Goats is for you. Maggie Sayer writes a thorough 344 page book on choosing your meat goats and marketing them for meat.
Raising goats can be fun with a good start of knowledge. These two books are wonderful in getting you to a good path of raising goats for milk, cheese, or meat.
