Quail, whether bobwhites or Coturnix do really well with small housing. As a quail breeder myself, I highly recommend the Quail Breeding Pen. This pen is a three second pen. Each pen measures 10 inches by 24 inches. If you own bobwhites, one pair fits easily in one section. The dividers do come out if you prefer colony housing. For Coturnix, they should be housed in colonies. In this case the dividers can be taken out to give you that 4 to 1 ratio. The pen comes with a large adjustable feed trough and a water trough that can be easily equipped for automatic watering. The whole pen is made out galvanized steel and sloped for easy egg collection. This pen is a must for the quail enthusiast!
